******New Club Run Start Location from 26th October 08*****

It’s Official the Thorpers are moving with the times (well further along the A644 to Mirfield).

The club runs will be starting from outside Mirfield Library from now on. click on link below->

Most Improved Rider of The Year AWard

How,s this for an idea. Instead of the above let us rename it The Rider of The year Award, this would then allow it to be presented to the person who has done rides in all spheres of cycling without resorting to times. Think about it and let Phil Know your feelings and then we could bring it in for 2009 season.

AGM

I have been a member for some thirty years and think that last nights meeting was perhaps one of the best I have attended. The discussions and attitudes were so positive. Thanks to the new members for their contributions and offers to take on various positions. Thanks to Phil and Martin for the way they ran the meeting. Also thanks to Martin for setting up the possibility of a new clubroom ,well done. As they say in the advert. the future is THORPERS
