What 65p are you sure ???? Club run 9th November 2008
Club run Report for 9th Nov 2008 to Wigfield Farm - present were Alex Millman, Robert Bradby, Doug Tomlinson, Dave Sugden, Maurice Legood, Andy Colter, Phil Johnson and some guy called Steve I think who we’ve never seen before. Followed on by 4 members of Sowerby Bros. So excellent turn out for such a horrible day. Run was 49 miles, average speed 14.4 mph. Arrived at Wigfield Farm to a very warm welcome, free beverages (Harry where were you ), and good portions - thoughts were flying around that more may be expected from us before we left. This was compounded when we came to pay and we were charged 65p for beans on toast to a resounding “Are you sure ???” Or are we on candid camera ? Then a soggy ride home. Good fun was had by all.

You forgot to say that the Waitress, who was not the best endowed in the looks department, took a shine to Steve, referring to him as “handsome”. I have just seen a picture of her on the early evening news - she escaped from the circus yesterday.

Hey, don’t dis my bird!!! Anyone offering free tea is potential bride in my books!!!
I’m just glad there were no sleeping pills in the beans on toast “with a free extra slice of toast”, and we didn’t wake up in a Pulp Fiction scenario.
By they way, I wonder how many of you are going to time yourselves next time

Apparently she was good mates with Rose West….I’d avoid the sausage….the pensioner mortality rate is suspiciously high in that area….and watch out for the Oh Deers….
