Wintersett Run

Posted By Martyn On 14/12/2008 @ 05:24 pm In Club Run | 4 Comments

Sadly ‘big’ Al was laid low with man flu and so was too poorly to get out of bed for a short ride today

Instead Phil, Martyn, Brad, Richard, Paul , Craig J and Maurice braved the weather and went to wintersett  going out via New mill past the Victoria to the windmills for coffee then over past the Dunkirk and High Hoyland to Wintersett.

The ride back was through Notton , Wooley and Bretton and down to Middlestown and Thornhill, the weather was cool but dry and we all got back in daylight.

Distance by my metric computer was 94.4 Kms and average speed of 23.3 kph, the cadence meter doesn’t seem to record  data but I was around 90 rpm most of the day!

We had one minor delay as sadly Craig got his overshoes on the wrong feet, if someone could have a word with santa and get big flourescent  letters L & R for him please
