Testing Times, Vol 1

A couple of updates on the testing front.

Just spoke to John Hatfield and he is making great progress recovering after a shocking injury when he came off his bike and severly damaged his pelvis and hips. He went through intense physio and training in water, building up walking 4 bredths off the pool to 60 wihin a matter of weeks!!! That is testament to the man and the sheer pain threshold that he puts in when he is racing, it’s given him great determination. We had a great chat and the good news is that he will be testing again this year but making his debut around May time rather than his usual March debut.

The second thing is I sent my entry off for the YCF 10 on the V310 in Tadcaster for Sunday 22nd February today, the season is almost upon us!!! YIPEE!! So if anyone wants to enter they only have till next Monday to send in their entries. If anybody wants to enter and is unsure about what to do please do not hesitate to ask. (You will notice that I’m being quite reserved in my approach to harranging you all so far, just wait till the season starts in anger then you will not get rid of me!!!)
