Al, it would suit you and i would recommend this to anyone.
Last year me and John stayed in Bourg d Oisans at the foot of Alpe d Huez. We climbed the Lauteret,Galibier,Glandon,Croix du Fer,Duex Alps and Alpe d Huez. All and more are within cycling range from a central base.
We are going back this July to add the Izoard and Sestriere, as well as Alpe d huez time trial again.
To say that Old Trafford is the Theatre of dreams is incorrect. In fact it is the theatre of Sh.te.
The Grand Alps are Wembley,Silverstone,Wimbledon,Nou Camp, etc all rolled into one. How many other sport lovers get to test themselves at thier top venues ?

Probably not buddy but Jack's will :)

Jack, I'm seeking permission from Lyndsey (the wife) to come on the trip. If someone fills the void whilst my negotiations are continuing then there will be no hard feelings.
