speed vs time

Hi

Just to promote discussion, Al mentionned that Sunday’s blast back was the fastest club run he has logged.

 taking as a rough guide the 40 miles from Grassington at 17.5 avg that is 2.3 hrs ( 2 hrs 20),  at 15 mph avg, roughly the club run speed over the years it would be 2.67 hrs ( 2h 40 mins)

If we stuck at 15’s  and waited at the top of hills would that encourage everyone to meet at the library, go to the same lunch stop and ride back together?
