Great to see a good turn out on a fine day for the sun but a bit gustier than we were expecting. Those gusts took speeds down to <15 MPH coming up Col De Dishforth and the grind up to there was interminable to say the least!!!!

I would like to congratulate John Callaghan on a scintillating ride and to post a 1.27 was exceptional in those conditions meaning he DESERVEDLY won the handicap and takes the prestigeous 25 Ravensthorpe Tradesman Subscrition cup!!!

Another special mention goes to Al for busting the hour as well, exceptional that buddy, well done, it was good to see you looking exhausted but elated at the finish!

For 3 of us to go under in those conditions shows the form we are in and Brad’s return to testing shows serious promise (he’s my tip for the 10 handicap)…………….still don’t like the beard though, it went all goatee today…..yuk
