Technical Advise

Need some technical advise, I have FSA Energy brakes and need some new brake pads but I can’t find them on wiggle or any other sites, would any other pads fit? I don’t want to spend the money without knowing whether they fit.

Club Ride 7 June

This morning only 4 riders got together for the club ride (Rob Bradly, Craig Newton, Daniel Webb and Jack De Bokx). Because of the weather forecast and some of the small group only being able to ride for half a day, we changed the ride to a shorter ride, but with some serious climbing. Craig Newton took a shorter route and parted at Queensbury, on we went with the three of us. We took the climb from Brighouse to Queensbury, where we went down, then to Oxenhope taking the climb to Hebden Bridge. With a bit of wind in the back (and NO rain!), it was actually quite a nice climb. At Hebden Bridge, Brad decided to take a short cut to Sowerby, Daniel and I went on via Cragg Vale to Ripponden, again with a nice wind in our back - the descent to Ripponden however was not that fast because the wind turned straight in our face. There I went on with the climb to Greetland, where Daniel went straight to Sowerby. From Greetland I went via Elland to Brighouse, up towards Huddersfield, via Bradley Bar up the hill at Mama’s and Papa’s and down to Mirfield.

Ride statistics: 90 Kilometers, 25.6 km/h average with 1600 verticle meters of climbing.

The weather forecast turned out to be absolutely wrong; we didn’t have a spat of rain. But it was very windy!
