on a bright and sunny morning, 9 riders set off from mirfield onwards to york, but only 2 were thorpers! C newton and phil johnson were accompanied by riders from sowerbys, and vs,  andy, mark,warren,bones, and some ginger called paul dixon[sorry harry]. The other names i forget.  Due to it being fathers day the group split up around sherburn, some going on to york and some heading home.  As i write, i am on fruit and nut bar number 2!  phil j
