Kenny Van Hummel

In true British underdog style lets celebrate the spirit and bloody mindedness of the man who is the Lanterne Rouge in this years TDF, Kenny Van Hummel. In true Thorper diversity and multi-cultural heritage we can be proud we have a team mate of the same nationality (and probably a better rider) in JDB.

You have got to take your hat off to this guy, out the back quicker than me on an incline (up or down) or Doug into a head wind (taking into account his bingo wings and fuel reserves wrapped around his mid-rift). How does he keep turning himself inside out each and every day just to keep in the race? Apart from wiggo’s fantasic Tour this is the most inspiring story yet!!!!

    Tragedy strikes, KVH crashes on a descent at 12.84 MPH AND Wiggo gets beat up in the playground by the bigger boys, what a bad bad day :-(

    Mind you, the guy will make money in the critters in NL and B the next weeks.
    Maybe we should apply for a ‘wild card entry’ into the TdF next year, so we can compete with Kenny for the ‘lantarne rouge’….
