Present were Alex Millman, Phil Rounding, Phil Johnson, Craig Johnson, Martin Lucas, Harry Dixon, Derick Milner, Mike the ref and Jim Smith. I was late so it was a fast get away from Mirfield and off towards Castlefield where we met up with Harry, Derick and Jim but the cafe was closed so we went to the Pub! yes thats right the Pub. It was the only place serving a coffee but the locals were on the beer and it was just after ten in the morning! I was not up for a long ride today so it was off to Wintersett cafe for a early lunch with Phil R, Harry, Derick and Jim the rest went on to who knows where? Just 45miles today for me but am sure the rest went much further..

Congratulations to Andy, who has retained his trophy for another year with a top ride in horrible conditions on the V259/1.

Steve DNF due to illness (met my breakfast again at 12 miles!)

Was a really good ride by Andy who only went back 4 minutes from the other week when some went backwards by up to 10 minutes! Well done to Al and John too on their first 50s, was really a baptism of fire in those conditions and after riding on the 718 yesterday as well.
