Testing PBs for all Thorpers

Hey up guys,

I’m getting together a collection of Thorpers all time PBs for ;

10 miles

25 miles

50 miles

100 miles

12 hours

24 hours

Can you send me you all time PBs to highlight the quality of Thorpers at their peak to stevemccall@talktalk.net

I think it will be great to see, for instance John Lancaster’s and Keith’s 25 & 50 times when they were at their peak, riding old skool AND still kicking the present testers butts, we have all the gear but no idea :-)

It would also be good to recognise Tom and Derek’s times (track and road) as we all know about their prodigious history but the wider public may not.

I would also like to record the clubs all time records e.g. Dave’s individual times and the team records, yeah I know, I’m modest, as we did both team 10 &25 records this year  :-)

I would like to get the records up there on the website for all to see and beat!

Steve.

P.S. so as to remain politically cycling correct we can also include peoples times for those things that are called sportives if you want, even cyclo cross but not mountain biking as we do not have a MBr section ;-)

Club hill climb

The club hill climb is to be held on 18th October on Ripponden Bank (as last year).  Start 10.30am.  Get your entries to Paul Brierley, 22 Holly Bank PPark, Rastrick, Brighouse  HD6 3NX.  Entry fee £7.00. Good luck lads & lasses.

Club poster if anyone needs ASAP

The above link will open up the new amended club poster with mountain biking, web-site and blog address on. Some formatting may be out with individuals own settings on Powerpoint. Also some computers may not have the font settings that it is written in.

I have got 10 A3 and 10 A4 copies laminated which I will bring to the AGM but if anyone needs them before give me a shout and we can arrange something.
