UK Track Nationals - Tickets are on the way!

Just a quick reminder of the date of the above event; Saturday 24 October 2009.

Andy & John Cal have paid, as has Steve.

Phil Johnson and John Lancaster; are you guys definitely still attending? If so, there is no rush for payment but we will need to organise the day as a whole soon.

I understand that a few Q/F and S/F events will take place in the afternoon and a few Finals in the evening. The afternoon session kicks off at 14:00 and the evening session at 19:00.

potential dates for Alps trip next year

So far Andy, Alastair, Doug, Brad and myself are interested.

I would suggest to go to one of the cycling hotels near to Bourg d’Oissan - we can stay in the same place Doug and I were last year (www.chaletbeyond.com) It’s quite good, decent food and drink (breakfast and dinner included in the price - which is around Euro 45 a night). If we leave on Wednesday evening, have a cheap stay near Folkestone and cross on Thursday morning early, we will be in time to do an hour or two to get used to the climbing on Thursday afternoon - we can do Friday, Saturday and Sunday riding and come back on Monday.

I am looking at 10-14 June, 17-21 June or 24 - 28 June.

Estimated total cost per person (including stay near Folkestone - and fuel and toll cost) would be £300. This excludes the channel crossing but I can get these via Tesco vouchers at a very low cost.

Let me know what the preferences would be or if someone else likes to join.
