what was the outcome with the saturday starting point?   the poster i have still indicates a 0900 start at the bridge, and it will be going in the spen velo window this week.  most people will go for the saturday run for their first time out and if alternative times and starting points are arranged over over tea and biscuits thurdays nights then possable new members will still be be left at the roadside as i was when i said 0930 and everyone had gone @0900.

mail shot arrived to tell us about a new cafe on the Widdop road,

 Towngate tearoom and Deli, 34 Towngate,Heptonstall, HX7 8RD

bike locks are avialable and apparently a 10% discount if you wear lycra.

which sounds like the kind of place mcCall frequents!

One slight point though, they don’t tell us when they are opne!
