OK everyone I would like your views and ideas on future club runs, as you may have noticed we are heading for Ramsbottom soon. Before you ask, no I’m not sure what’s there!! but I am trying to think of new spots to visit so if there’s any suggestions for the future please let me know. Yes Doug the Strines will be up soon.Also could anyone who is planning on  attending  a Sportive or other cycling event, please put it on the club calendar as this will help me with future planning, cheers The Captain

For those that like to test, like to read about testers or just like looking out for testing results, this magazine is for you. For those that don’t like testers, reading about testers or seeing testing results, look away now.

It’s a new venture and the first issue was released last week. I’ve subscribed for an initial 8 week period and consider you wanabe testers or current testers should do too!

Just a quick heads up to anyone interested that Mark Beaumont is doing a talk in Halifax Victoria Theatre on Friday 19th March at 7.30pm.

Mark held the record for cycling 18,000 miles round the world and has just cycled the length of the Americas (interupted by climbing the two tallest mountains).

Should be a good evening. I might ask him for some routes for future club run’s!
