This morning five Thorpers completed thier first TT of the season on the V310 course at Tadcaster. Despite horrendous weather forecasts the day dawned bright and dry but was also cold and breezy.

It felt like a cross headwind going out to the turn but it was also hard in parts on the return. Despite the conditions, some very solid times were posted and there should be some fierce interclub competition this season.

It’s good to get the first ride under the belt and I will now look ahead to the Scunthorpe 10 next Saturday and the VTTA 18k the following week.

The VTTA 18 should see another good field of Thorpers with John Lancaster, Hattie, myself and possibly Les & Paul entered.
