Captain Alex

For those of you who are unaware, Alex crashed quite badly on the way into Keighley today. He collided with a pedestrian who walked out into the road when he should not have done. It was not Alex’s fault.

Alex has sustained a broken collar bone and a fractured pelvis. The break to the collar bone is a clean one, and the fracture to the pelvis is hairline. Neither will require surgery, but as I am sure we can all imagine, he is in a great deal of pain and discomfort. As I write this post he is being transfered from Airedale Hospital to Dewsbury.

Thank God it wasn’t anything more serious (although it’s serious enough). I am sure that I speak for all of us when I wish him a speedy recovery.
