Club 25 Championship.
A cold wet day dawned for the club 25 on the V232 up at Dishforth. The event was held in constant drizzle and a swirling breeze but despite the conditions some great performances and fast times were posted.Congratulations to overall winner Steve McCall and Handicap winner Andy Callaghan.Times were:Steve 56.59Andy 57.40John Callaghan 1.00.25John Hatfield 1.03.01John Lancaster D.N.S (hope it’s nothing serious John)Other riders to mention;Al Wareham 55.34 and Paul Brierley 59.52.It’s the club 10 champs on 12th June. Horrific waether but suprisingly fast day, well done Andy on your handicap win for the premier trophy.
You certainly made me hurt for every inch of the 25 miles buddy, if you wern’t such a good mate I’d hate you for doing that to me!!!;-)
Bring on the 10 on the 12th June for part 2 of the showdown with hopefully more riders present, it’s still not too late to enter.
