National Champs 25 mile tt

Steve Mc call is riding the event on saturday he is number 3 starting at 14 03. the course is on the A168 between wetherby and dishforth It would be great if some Thorpers could be on the course cheering him on. As arider of numerous championships it is a great feeling if your mates are out there encouraging you . Try and make the effort it does make a difference

Club 10 entries

The club 10 on the 12th June closed tonight but I’ve spoke to the organiser (Richard Haigh) from HVW and he is willing to keep it open for a short while for late entries.

The tints guys are going to consider entering tomorrow on their run and if anyone else wants to enter get your entry into me and I will e-mail it through. The form can be found here http://www.cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/AboutCTT/RiderInfo/FormsGuidanceNotes/tabid/77/Default.aspx

Come on Doug, you know you want to! And Craig, get entered again to see if you can beat your previous time!!! The event is handicapped too so there is a trophy up for grabs and also points available for the club BAR.

Also young Johnathan should be entering to show us old guys how it’s done, the way you cycle back after a club night certainly frightens me with the pace you put down!

All entries should be forwarded to me and any questions about the form please e-mail me at stevemccall@talktalk.net

Entries so far are

Jack with a 24.12

Andy 21.46

John Cal 23.04

John Lan 22.18

Jim Kirrane 23.08

And little old me with a 21.29.

The glaring omission is Les, where are you old buddy, get your entry in!!!!!

Keith can you handicap this if possible? The cheque is in the post ;-)

RAAM or Race Across America

Another toughie, RAAM has its own status, and sadly often fatalities  this year Brits are again going in the team category where they relay each other, and can’t ride in groups.
