Dave Marriott was a fantastic time trialist his times were compariable to anyone on a national basis.If you can emulate his times you can say that you have made it. Until then you are just playing at time trialling

Wow, all in the nineties - under 4 hours on a 100 miles! And that on a probably steel or alu bike, without all the fancy hoopsy toopsy stuff!

as for the 15 mile record i think i hold that, but don’t ask the time cos i can’t remember!
