I sent an email and got this response today;
Thank you for your email. I have checked with our Surfacing team and a full resurface is planned to take place along Calder Road in Autumn time this year. In the meantime, I have raised a job for the Reactive Team to inspect the potholes and arrange for any repairs as required.

Lets see what happens.

Oh i don't know that one in Carlecotes was pretty rough!!

But yes it is rough and that's why i suggest that users keep reporting defects on that, and indeed any road

defects reported on http://www.fillthathole.org.uk/ create a national recpord which if anyone has an accident they could refer to

This has got to be the worst road in Yorkshire. Perhaps they (highways) would prefer a newspaper article on the state of it, or for someone to put a claim in?

I moaned about this stretch of road April 2009. The man from the council contacted me and said they where waiting on Yorkshire Water to fix a colapsed drain. I think he then got the hump when i compared the road to a 3rd world country telling me i was a bit over the top. I don't think he has tried riding a 3 grand back down it.
