This afternoon Steve McCall and Andy Callaghan were on duty for the Thorpers in the Derby Mercury 25 mile Time Trial on the A25/11.On a good but not perfect day 4 riders went under 50 minutes, such was the quality of the field. Andy recorded a 56.40 and Steve 57.32 to keep their personal see saw battle going.Over in Hull on the V718 our friend Al Wareham recorded a PB in the Wolds RT 10 with a cracking time of 21.06. Well done Al the 20 club is close!In the Wolds event two competition records were broken, Michael Hutchinson recorded 17.57 ! and Ryan Mullen 19.14 (juvenile record, this lad is 15 years old, my word!)Tomorrow is the Elmet 12 hour race. There are three Thorpers on Marshalling duty, Phil Rounding, John Lancaster, and Andy Callaghan.
