O25 TT - feel like the come back kid…..
After a very ’slow’ August, enjoying holidays in my home country and the British coast (and yes….there was some sun!). enjoying Leeds Fest (midlife crisis?) and travelling half the world for work (I know, life is hard) - my cycling legs are not in the best shape. Nevertheless, I decided to a 25-er to get back into shape….I registered for the O25/1 which starts at Hatfield Woodhouse - then goes on the A18 towards Crowle, comes back and does the O10/1 which goes south from Harfield towards Blaxton and back. The wind was not too bad (although it felt ‘thick’) but the road surface was just horrible….like Paris-Roubaix or something. Anyway, finished just over 1h02 (John Lancaster did a 1h03something) so not too bad given the circumstances (but also not too good…). I guess August didn’t do too good for my legs.
Anyway - as of next week I should be back for the club runs.
PS - as I will be 50 somewhere this month, I like to invite all members for my bash (September 25th) - just pop me an email/call me if you’re interested.
Jack

Very very tough rural course is that Jack. Even Al struggles to do a 22 for a 10 on here so going under would have been incredible. Really good times by both of you.

Chapeau Jack. Great time on one of my favourite courses. You’ll go under on there next season no doubt.
