As i understand there are a few Thorpers interested to join in next years Alps trip. Just FYI i normally start organizing around November, we know the TdF stages by then and can plan accordingly. If any stage get close to Oz en Oisans we might combine, otherwise we select another week earlier, probably end of June.
Be aware that the rides are tough, usually over 100 km with lots of climbing and high altitude (>2000mtr). Climbs can be up to 20 miles with gradients od 8 to 10% during all of the climb.
If you like to come, great, but be sure you can handle the rides…..there ain’t no shortcuts in the Alps!
