Alastair’s bike is rubbish, he will accept less than £150 I would have thought. I think Al got it from Argos in a sale so I’m not sure if your pal would even want it but it is worth asking him I guess.

It’s OK, Ben. I have sent Doug a text message with a ‘bike’ recommendation. I think his friend is now sorted.

Hi Doug,I have a carrera MTB i might sell.It’s not ideal as i would assume he is looking for a road bike.How tall is your mate?I have a small 21″ frame bike i use for turbo but is very old.

I a mountain bike i may sell.It’s not ideal as i assume you would want a road bike.I have a very old road bike that i use on my turbo with old fashioned down tube gear levers but it may be too old.

Thanks Steve. However, he is after a road bike. He is quite tall so your bike would be too small. I think he would need a 56cm, or at least 22.5 inch frame.
