Steve Mc call is riding the event on saturday he is number 3 starting at 14 03. the course is on the A168 between wetherby and dishforth It would be great if some Thorpers could be on the course cheering him on. As arider of numerous championships it is a great feeling if your mates are out there encouraging you . Try and make the effort it does make a difference

If you watching the tour on saturday stage 8 it might be possible to have a rare sighting of El Presidento  He will be watching on the Col D”Agnes about 25 kms from finish he is staying at a campsite at Oust. He says he will give us a wave.   JEKYL

I think you have beaten the old record by over a minute Your total time is 2hrs 48 mins 46 secs. The old record was about 2 hrs 50 mins and some seconds.  WELL DONE LADS ITS A GREAT FEELING TO SEE SUCH RIDES BEING DONE
