NEW MEMBERS

We very recently had 2 new members join the Thorper team, so its a warm welcome to Malcolm Lock and Steve Vaughan. Malcolm is a regular on the Saturday run to the windmills cafe and Steve is now regaining fitness following a nasty accident last May. He is also taking part in the Turbo training sessions and hopes to gain enough fitness for the clubruns. Steve was also a pretty quick tester in the early 1990s. Welcome guys .
UNPAID SUS AND OR CTC THIRD PARTY INSURANCE

Ok guys today I have my treasurers hat, and Iam calling on you members who have short arms and deep pockets to take note. Subs and CTC insurance is due every year on the 1st of October. To date the following members are owing. John Collinson £25.00, Sky John £25.00. Jonny Dyson £15.00 (Ins only) Brad and family £70.00. Andy Colter £25.00 (Andy your Ins not paid as I didn,t hear from you. Mat Wainwright still owes from last year so it looks as though Mat could drop off the Thorper perch. Iam down at the clubroon tonight and next Thursday for you to pay up. Failing that I will come and smash your windows. (Joke) Cheers Phil.
Club Dinner and prize presentation.

This next week Fry up Phil will have to confirm numbers with The Grange for those wanting a dinner. We seem to be a bit light on numbers compared with last year and could do with more bums on seats. So put your meal request in on the Blog post of the 10th Nov 2011 so Phil can firm up on the final numbers. Thanks for the support.

TURBO TRAINING SESSIONS

Paul has agreed to commence his turbo sessions every Thursday starting on the 12th January at 7.30prompt. These are pretty intense and ideal for getting rid of the xmas pud. So come along and give Paul your support. Providing we get enough riders these will run right through to the end of March.
OVERDUE SUBS

Right folks , a reminder that subs and or CTC insurance payment is well overdue. You can pay at the Clubroom on Thursday nights or at the latest at the club dinner on the 22nd Jan. All insurance payments have been made by the club so you are covered.

If any of you dont yet know, Alex has responded well to treatment and for the short term no furthe treatment is neccessary, but he will need regular check ups. So its great to know that it wont be long before ripping our legs off. All the best Al

Good news , James Asquith has rejoined the club after several years absence. James produced some pretty quick times when he was a member years ago. Welcome back James, and hope to see you out soon. It was good to see go part way on the clube 120mile anniversary ride. If you need any futher info keep your eyes on the blog or see you at the clubroom.
