LEWIS HIRST

You may recall young Lewis was out on Sunday, he left the group in Taddy and came back with me and Dave S and David B. Well we got to Otley where we were fed, Dave S carried on home. We continued on the back road to Ilkley and Addingham, over the Cringles, and onto Keighley (Rossies for a brew) then over Ingrow to Queensbury when we asked long way home or short way Lewis, reply long way. We arrived back with 85miles covered, Lewis smiling from ear to ear, he had just completed his longest ever ride, and this was after 72miles on Thursday, 35miles (windmills) on Saturday, at 13years of age it deserves a pat on the back. Well done Lewis.

What a fantastic turnout this morning for the 120mile celebration ride. A head count made it 42 at the start. You all did the club proud, and I think for every member who completed the ride, Ithink a celebration plaque be awarded at the Clubs annual dinner. Also thanks to Alex for sorting out the Route and the coffee/tea stop in Taddy. Also thanks to Brian for turning out to send us on our way at the Grand Depart. Thanks all for your great support.
